Notice about Coronavirus (Covid-19)

Dear Patients,

FSAC is closely monitoring the rapidly evolving communication on the Coronavirus as reported by the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and local health departments. As part of ourfacility’s efforts to prevent and limit the risk of exposure and transmission of this infection, we are following the CDCguidelines.

To protect our patients and our staff, we are encouraging best practices and standard of care preventative actions such as routine hand washing, use of hand sanitizers, face masks, and other standard precautions to maintain a safe environment for all.

To lessen the risk of infection, the following recommendations from the CDC have been established as part of our facility’s daily routines and guidance for all:

• Clean hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds or use alcohol-based sanitizer
• Avoid touching eyes, nose, and mouth
• Cover nose and mouth with tissue or inside of elbow when coughing or sneezing
• Avoid close contact with anyone who appears sick
• Minimize physical contact including shaking hands, hugging, and sharing personal items
• Stay home if feeling ill. The most common symptoms are fever, cough, and trouble breathing
• Routinely clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces including door knobs, electronics, phones, wheelchairs, and other commonly touched objects

If you have any questions, please talk with one of our doctors, as they will be happy to provide reassurance and resources to provide the best possible care for you.

Thank you for your understanding and patience during this time.

Sincerely,
The FSAC Staff

Ever feel like your cup of coffee needs a cup of coffee? 😴

How can we improve our energy level without increasing our caffeine intake? ☕️

We know that exercise has a positive effect on our body, improving circulation, lowering cholesterol, increasing oxygen intake and improving metabolic rate; all resulting in an increase in energy!

Studies also show that a consistent, low-intensity exercise routine can also improve your fertility! 🎉

Exercise can decrease the impact of ovulation disorders as well as decrease your overall stress level, making it a perfect component to add to your daily routine when trying to conceive. 💕

There have been many studies conducted to prove that women who are suffering from Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, also suffer from abnormal insulin levels or are “insulin resistant”. This leads to higher than normal levels of testosterone in the blood, resulting in a disruption in the menstrual cycle.

A larger breakfast for women with PCOS, has shown to boost fertility. Controlling insulin levels by eating more calories at breakfast and then decreasing them at dinner, has shown a positive effect on hormone levels and a positive effect on their fertility as a result. 🌈💕

This makes total sense to me (I have pcos) and I NEED to eat a decent breakfast or brunch. And my dinners are kind of small. I never knew this was studied though. My insulin levels don’t feel normal so I have to give my body what it needs, when it needs it. Which is meal sized portions in the first half of the day and snack sized portions later in the day. Thanks for sharing this interesting little tidbit about pcos 😊
